Daisy Bellis is a baroque pop artist with folk influences. Her show Quietly Blooming focuses on inner growth, themes such as femininity and nature. Powerful drums, graceful piano melodies and her ethereal voice form the heart of her music.
As a child, Daisy grew up with classical music and she sang in a choir – influences that subtly resonate in her layered sound. Inspired by artists such as Kate Bush, Florence + The Machine and Loreena McKennitt, she weaves baroque elements, poetic lyrics and atmospheric arrangements into an enchanting live experience.
With her singles Goddess of Love and Strange Blood, picked up by 3FM and Kink, Daisy Bellis took her first big steps in 2024. Her EP A Dragonfly’s Kiss opened the doors to festivals such as Castlefest (3 August) and she will tour with Popronde this autumn. On September 16, she will play her first headline show at the Melkweg: Quietly Blooming.
